About us

Walsall Children's Information Service is a free, confidential and impartial information and advice service based in the centre of Walsall. We are open Monday- Thursday 9am to 5pm, and Friday 8:45am - 4.45pm and outside these hours have an answer phone service.

We can offer parents information on childcare in Walsall and childcare career and training opportunities, as well as signposting them to other useful services in the area. The CIS is committed to helping parents make important life choices on childcare and flexible working.
